“Bugaboo”
Emma Carolyn was born on September 13, 2004. She came into the world screaming and yelling and has yet to quiet down.
We have survived teething, night wakings and potty training. Now, our newest challenge as presented itself — SASSINESS!! She knows what she wants and when she wants it and if we do not do what she wants she sasses. If we tell her to do something, she sasses. Then, the moment that I am ready to pull out my hair or box her up to put on the corner to give her away, she does something that makes me smile and my heart melt.
In all honesty, she is a very loving, compassionate child. She has imagination and a free-spirit and does what she wants. She doesn’t care what anyone else has to say about it. I hope that she can keep that same attitude throughout her life and know that she can do anything she wants to.
My favorite thing about my daughter is when she wants me to snuggle up with her when she is tired at night and then says “I Love You Mommy” before she drifts off to sleep. Those are the moments I keep most dear to my heart.
