Happy New Years Eve??
Not so much. I love my children and most of the time, I relish the fact that they go to bed so early as I have my evenings to myself. However, on nights like this, I wish that Emma would stay awake a little longer.
Tim had the “brilliant” idea to tell her about the party at the Steffen’s. My vote was that she shouldn’t go a she through a HORRENDOUS temper tantrum earlier in the evening. But, I digress.
Since this child decides that 5:00 a.m. is the right time to get up AND that nap time means it is time to rummage through the dirty clothes to find the “Christmas Jammies” to put back on, to pull off all of the books from her bookshelf and just screw around instead of sleep, she is RACKED OUT by 6:45 each night.
So yes, like clockwork, at 6:40, she wanted to lie down on the couch. She fell asleep. So rather than stay home (as I recommended to Tim), he proceeds to wake her up. So, we get to the party and she is clingy, whiny and just tired. She did not want to play, which was making the evening no fun for mommy and daddy. And of course, Garrett woke up on the trip over there. So, after arriving at 7:30 p.m., I loaded up the kids and was back home by a little after 8:00 p.m.
So yes, Happy New Year’s Eve ….. TO ME!
Could it be?
Well, as I posted before, Tim has agreed to work on baby #3. I am really, really, really wanting another little girl. We are talking badly! So, I sent an email to Cheri22 because she was dead on for a friend of mine (told her December would be her month and sure enough — pregnant in December).
Anyhow, I have been waiting and waiting for her to respond. And, while I know in my head that there can’t be THAT much truth to this, it was certainly very, very interesting to here what she had to say for me. Here’s her response:

I am seeing a GIRL coming your way and relating her to FEB, so this is either birth month, conceive month or the month you find out in
I think that you will find that you have a social butterfly on your hands. Someone who also really enjoys having her picture taken, someone who is always smiling and always looks “presentable”. I think that you will find that she does take pride in her appearance, she is not stuck up or conceited about how she looks but certainly does appreciate the qualities that she does have and certainly knows how to enhance her nice skin, her beautiful hair..etc.
I think that you will find that shes someone who i would consider to be a great multi-tasker, really does enjoy doing things and helping people. I think that you might find that she is someone who is often doing more “work” than her fair share. Shes not afraid to help someone out and more times than not ends up doing their work. Shes very fast at what she does, finds most things she has to learn, ‘easy” and really learns fast.
I think that you will find that shes usually very cheerful personality, someone who tries to look on the bright side and always focuses on the solution rather than the problem at hand. When it comes to career paths, I see her working as an assistant to a large corporate executive.
When it comes to marriage i See her closer to 24, they will have one boy and one girl of their own.

What is so freaky about this is that I was thinking in my mind about February. Part of the reason for that is that we’d be due in November….November 14th to be exact. That would allow me to choose November 11th as my elective c/s date……4 years ago to the day that my sister passed away. She LOVED that I had a little girl, so it would seem quite fitting for another little girl to enter into this world on the day that Kerry left it.
Guess we’ll see if she was right….I will certainly keep all posted!!
