We survived the holidays!
They are over and done with. They were not too bad this year though!
Sunday night was Christmas with my mom. With the kids having so many things coming, we decided to break it up and so they opened those gifts with her. It was really laid back and nice to have the time to enjoy our evening.
Then, Monday afternoon, the IL came over. We had appetizers and then went to mass, came home and opened our gifts with them. I opened mine from Tim and he then brought up a flag pole and mounting bracket that he had made. I liked what he got me, but will admit I was disappointed that there was no note under the tree letting me know that we could have another baby. I thought that we’d just have to really talk about it after the first of the year.
So, we put the kids to sleep and got all of the Santa goodies out and set up. I was admiring them when Tim mentions that he sees a gift up behind the clock. I look at him and smile and then move the clock and sure enough, there is envelope there. He chuckles and says that he didn’t do it…..really sweet. So, I open it up and it is a gorgeous card about his love for me. I open the inside and see this:
So….guess that means that baby #3 is a DEFINITE for our family!! I was sooooo excited! I told him that he really didn’t have to get me ANYTHING else at all. He smiled and said “You owe me!” I told him that he already gets to go hunting and that a lot, so I think we will be even!
I think we’ll wait to TTC this one around Feb or so…….sure don’t want this one to be born TOO close to Emma’s b-day in September. I hope that we are lucky this time and it happens quickly for us and that the pregnancy is healthy…..but I will admit I will really be praying for another little girl!!!
