GAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! It is 5:45 a.m. – why are you awake?? Nope, I am not referring to my 6 month old, but rather, MY 3 YEAR OLD!!!!! She has been waking up at this time for the past 3 days. It doesn’t matter what time I put her to bed, she is waking early!!! AND….SHE DOESN’T NAP ANYMORE!!!! Short of hog tying her to her bed, there really isn’t anything I can do about it!

That all aside, the most incredible part of my day, is looking in on them when they are sleeping…….they are both so beautiful and peaceful (and quiet). I can’t even imagine going to sleep without taking one more peek at both of them. It really melts my heart. Some nights, it even moves me to tears, to realize that I made these little angels sleeping in my house…..truly gifts to behold.

Bedtime with Emma is now even more special for us. This week, we began to teach her some night time prayers. They are not anything more than, “God Bless Mommy, Daddy, Garrett, Grandpa, Mimi and Granny. Thank you for everything you have given to me. Amen.” Watching that little person kneel next to her bed is so dagum adorable!!!

Well, shortly, Garrett will be awake to nurse and then Tim will get up. We will all head to church together. That is another thing that gives me that “warm and fuzzy” feeling all over. It feels amazing to be in church together as a family, and it always gives me even more of a chance to thank the Lord above for the gifts he has blessed me with….the lives he has entrusted to me to nurture.

My first blog!!! WOO HOO!!! I can’t believe I finally am getting around to doing this!

Just another boring Saturday here in Missouri…..Emma is watching her show and Garrett is napping. As usual, Tim has disappeared out the door to do work outside. I do not understand how it can take someone over two hours to powerwash the driveway…….OY VEY!!!!

I am having a night out….well, late afternoon out at least!! Kim, Kathy and I are going to a Mexican restaurant for Margaritas and appetizers…YUMMY!!! I am looking forward to being Tracie for a little bit and not “Mommy”…..ahhhhhhhh…….

I am anxious about my business getting going. I have 4 parties for the month of October. So far, I have averaged only $175/party. Man, I want to hit one of those $300 – $500 ones soooooo bad!!! I really want to get going making some money! I am praying that I can get some more bookings from these other parties!!!!

I do love my husband, but somedays………… For instance, he was up very early today. He did feed Garrett breakfast and played with Emma, for a LITTLE bit…but by 8:30, he was outside doing things. He didn’t come back in until 12:30……ate and put Garrett down for a nap….back out at 2:00. I finally had to go get him at 3:00 so I could get ready to go. I feel like he just goes and does what he wants, when he wants and has no regard for the kids. He then gets frustrated when they don’t want to do something with him. Umm, hello buddy, remember, if you have to be a part of thier lives for them to want to include you!!! But, I digress……time for me to get ready to leave, relax and have a good time with my girls. And best of all, DADDY is watching the kids, doing dinner AND baths….ALONE!!!!
